The one guy who could get away with it. Brock Lesnar isn’t like most wrestlers. There aren’t many people in wrestling who can offer his kind of legitimate athletic background and pure intimidation factor that would probably scare most people off. At the same time, there aren’t many people in the world like Vince McMahon. With two people like them working together, it’s almost a guarantee that things could get testy at some point.
According to Slice Wrestling, Lesnar wasn’t happy when he arrived at WrestleMania 35 and found out that he wasn’t going to be going on last. This led to an argument with McMahon and Lesnar demanding that his match go on first so that he could leave earlier in the evening. Paul Heyman referenced such a thing, minus the argument with McMahon, as he came to the ring and said that Lesnar’s match should open the show.

It wouldn’t be the first time these two have had issues. Check out what happened last year at WrestleMania 34:
Opinion: I’d be curious to know if this was filmed, as the other fight between the two of them last year seemed to be more for the WWE Network special than anything else. There’s a chance that this was something Lesnar was annoyed about, as I wouldn’t want to sit around for six hours waiting on a match that wasn’t going to close the show either. There’s a good chance that we won’t be seeing Lesnar for a long time, which might be best for everyone involved.
Should the match have opened the show? When will Lesnar be back? Let us know in the comments below.
