Rumor: Batista Wants to Come Back to WWE

You can always use an Animal. Wrestlers come and go from WWE all the time. Whether it’s someone being welcomed back into the fold or someone walking away after a long time with the company, changes happen fairly constantly. Now though, it seems that a pretty big name might want to come back to WWE again.

According to the “Wrestling Observer Newsletter” by way of 411mania.com, Batista is interested in coming back to WWE for a fairly long term run. The potential run, which could run anywhere from six months to a year, is something Batista wants to do, seemingly out of love for the business. He is said to love appearing at live events and on television and simply wants to do it again.

Opinion: I’d be skeptical about this. Most wrestlers don’t perform at this age and Batista’s last run wasn’t all that great in the first place. That being said, WWE would be crazy to not take him back, at least in the short term. He’s going to be in the upcoming Avengers movies and WWE would be all about that kind of mainstream appeal.
