Winter is coming. With less than two months to go before “Royal Rumble 2018”, it’s time to start picking things up a bit in WWE. Things need to start getting ready for the bigger shows of the year but it might take a little time to really start getting there. We don’t have any more pay per views to go before the new year though, so how did things go with nothing else in the way?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” drew a .9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.786 million viewers. These numbers are up 7% and 4% respectively from last week’s .85 rating and 2.685 million viewers. This week’s show was headlined by a six woman tag, which turned into a segment announcing the first ever women’s Royal Rumble.

Opinion: This is kind of the dead period for wrestling as people are getting ready for the holidays and have more important things to do with their time than watch wrestling. They also know that we have a long way to go before “Royal Rumble 2018” so a lot of this stuff doesn’t quite matter. Hopefully things go up, but at least they didn’t go down.
