The reign continues. We are currently in the midst of one of the longest championship reigns in WWE history as Roman Reigns is now over two years into his Universal Title reign. That is the kind of run that you never see and it is interesting to see just how far the reign can go. Reigns has been a top star for a long time now and he has won another title from outside WWE.
Reigns has been named #1 on the annual PWI 500 list, marking his second time earning the #1 spot following 2016. Reigns was #2 on the list last year and has been in the top ten every year since 2014, save for 2020. The list looks at wrestlers’ work from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and includes a mixture of success and storyline success. Here is the top 10:
1. Roman Reigns
2. Kazuchika Okada
3. CM Punk
4. Hangman Page
5. Bobby Lashley
6. Cody Rhodes
7. Bryan Danielson
8. Vikingo
9. Big E
10. Jonathan Gresham
As just announced on @BustedOpenRadio, Roman Reigns is again the #1 wrestler in the #PWI500. The 32nd annual "500" list is featured in our latest issue, available now for print preorder at https://t.co/ylNeV87zar

Opinion: Was there another realistic option here? Reigns has been the Universal Champion for over two years and there is nothing to suggest that he is going to be losing it anytime soon. That is more than enough to keep him at the top of the industry and there is a good chance that he will do it again next year. We are seeing something special with Reigns and it is reaching new heights every day.
What do you think of the list? Who would be your #1? Let us know in the comments below.
