CM Punk's AEW Media Scrum Rant Has Positive/Hilarious Side Effect

Call it a perk. Every so often, a wrestler will mention something that has some unforeseen consequences, some of which may be more positive than others. It could be anything from talking about a great wrestler to recommending something to the fans. That can lead to some very positive situations, and that is the case for something that has nothing to do with wrestling.

During the AEW media scrum for All Out, CM Punk mentioned a shop called Mindy’s Bakery in Chicago while eating some of their muffins. Punk recommended the bakery as a great place for such food, which has led to a string of positive reviews for the bakery popping up. Several of them included references to Punk’s statements and the backstage brawl that followed. Here are some of the highlights:

Opinion: Sure why not. This is the kind of thing that doesn’t hurt anyone and gives a local establishment the kind of attention that it was never going to get otherwise. That is something you do not see happen very often and it is a cool benefit after everything else went so insane. Punk might not have thought it would get this big, but good for him for helping out someone along the way.
