Well that’s a little different. There is little way to deny that WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. While it might not be the most popular in some ways, WWE is still the highest level of wrestling from a business standpoint. There are other promotions out there though, and one of them might be getting involved with one of the biggest names in entertainment today.
Even when he was still in wrestling, there was no hiding the fact that the Rock was destined for something more. He had all the charisma that you could ask for and made everything he touched look easy. That is not the kind of thing you are lucky to see once in a generation at most and WWE is lucky that Rock is willing to do some things with them from time to time. However, Rock might be doing something else with a rather different wrestling promotion.
Earlier this year, Ken Shamrock was announced as the latest inductee into the Impact Wrestling Hall Of Fame. His induction will take place next month, so Shamrock asked The Rock if he would send in an induction greeting, saying that his feud with the Rock was one of the best times of his career. Rock responded, saying he would write the statement and send it in by the weekend. There is no indication that Rock will appear on camera for Impact Wrestling.
Congrats, my brother. Awesome news. I will take care of this and get it to you by this weekend.

They did have a good feud. Check out some of Shamrock vs. The Rock:
Opinion: That’s quite the request to make of the Rock but points to Shamrock for trying. At worst Rock could just ignore him but he actually said yes. Assuming he does send something in, it would be a huge deal for Impact Wrestling just to have his name somewhat associated with their company. Shamrock was a huge deal for Impact Wrestling when it first started in the NWA: TNA days and he deserves the honor, which might have just gotten a lot bigger.
What is Shamrock’s best moment in wrestling? Who should induct him? Let us know in the comments below.
