It might be his fallback option. It’s something that can be debated to no end, but WWE may have the strongest talent roster the company has ever seen at the moment. Between the main roster and NXT, there are so many great performers that it is almost impossible to find time for all of them to do something. This can create a problem, but one of them has an idea of how to solve his own case.

One of the stories that has gone a bit under the radar over the last few weeks has been that of Ricochet. While it is true that he received a WWE Championship shot at Super ShowDown, the match did not go well for him as he was defeated in less than two minutes flat. The following Monday, he lost to Riddick Moss in less than three minutes. Then this week, he was nowhere to be seen on Monday Night Raw. Things are not looking great for Ricochet on the red show, but he might have an idea.

Ricochet was a guest on Good Morning Washington on Monday and mentioned that he would be interested in going back to NXT. Ricochet described it as a home for him and a place he would go to anytime they needed a hand. At the moment, there is no indication that Ricochet could be moved back to NXT either full time or part time. During his run in NXT, Ricochet held the North American Title before being moved up to the Monday Night Raw roster.

It would be a nice reunion. Check out some of Ricochet’s best NXT work:

Opinion: I’m not sure if this is something that is going to happen in the future or if it is something that needs to happen anytime soon, but it’s a good fallback option to have. Ricochet was challenging for the WWE Title on a pay per view less than two weeks ago, but it’s been quite the bumpy ride since then. Maybe things will straighten out, but I can’t blame him for thinking about his future.

Should Ricochet head back to NXT? Do you want him to? Let us know in the comments below.
