And that takes care of that. To say that “205 Live” is changing a lot at the moment is an understatement. There’s a lot of stuff going on at the moment, mainly in the form of the Cruiserweight Title tournament. Several new names are appearing, but it turns out that we won’t be seeing one of the older names again.

WWE.com has announced that WWE has officially parted ways with Rich Swann. The wording suggests that the departure was mutual and that Swann wasn’t outright released. Swann was suspended from the company due to allegations of domestic violence against his wife, though the charges have been dropped. Swann’s last match for the company was on December 5, 2017 on “205 Live”.

Here’s Swann’s last match with the company:

Rich Swann vs. Tony Nese: WWE 205 Live, Dec. 5, 2017

Opinion: I’m a bit surprised that Swann isn’t coming back since the charges were dropped but maybe that’s how he’d rather have it go. Of course there’s a chance that he’ll be back later, but his time with WWE wasn’t too bad all things considered. His Cruiserweight Title win was a nice moment and hopefully he gets back to doing things the way he wants to.

What did you think of Swann’s time in WWE? Where should he go next? Let us know in the comments below.
