He’s here to show us the money. Back in December, Dolph Ziggler vacated his newly won United States Title and walked out of the company for about seven weeks. Ziggler returned in the 2018 Royal Rumble without making much of an impact. He was back on this week’s “Smackdown Live” and as it turns out, he has a new contract. Just how much is Ziggler worth at the moment?

According to “Sports Illustrated”, Ziggler’s new deal is for two years and $1.5 million per year. There was never any doubt that Ziggler was going to re-sign with the company despite his storyline of walking out. Ziggler didn’t wrestle on any house shows over the course of the angle to sell the story.

Here’s what Ziggler had to say after defeating Sami Zayn this week:

Will Dolph Ziggler finally get his WrestleMania Moment?: SmackDown LIVE Fallout, Feb. 13, 2018

Opinion: I’m not the biggest Ziggler fan in the world and I’d be curious to see how much the rest of the roster is making. Maybe there’s more to it than what we know on the surface, but that seems like an awful lot of money for someone who seems to be on the eternal treadmill that Ziggler is stuck on. Hopefully this run is a little better for him but I’m not getting my hopes up.

What do you think of Ziggler’s comeback story? How far can he go this time? Let us know in the comments below.
