The Genesis of something good? This week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” was one of their special shows with a slew of title matches and a stacked card. With the main event in a steel cage, there was a good chance for the company to draw a big time audience. So how did this week’s show do?
According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .07 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 310,000 viewers. These numbers are equal with last week’s ratings and nearly equal to last week’s 309,000 viewers. This week’s show was headlined by Alberto El Patron vs. Johnny Impact vs. Eli Drake for Drake’s Impact Wrestling World Title.

Opinion: The numbers staying roughly the same despite a big show isn’t the most surprising thing in the world as the show was barely advertised. The only mention that I can recall was in the last fifteen minutes of the previous week’s show, which is hardly enough time to set something like this up. It would help to know this stuff a little bit earlier.
