That doesn’t sound good. Despite not seeming like them at times, wrestlers are human beings. Some of them are bigger deals than others, but when you get one who has the right personality, they are going to be able to take your interest and maintain it, which is one of those things that you can’t plan for. There are some wrestlers like that today, but one of them might be going away for awhile.
There are very few wrestlers who have hit the ground running like Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Practically an unknown just a few years ago, Friedman has become a big time player in AEW after doing just the same in Major League Wrestling. His ability to talk with the best of them has helped him a lot, but we might not be hearing his amazing verbal skills for a little (or maybe a long) time.
Friedman has sent out a tweet saying that an unspecified injury might require him to have surgery. This was originally mentioned last week but not he has said that whatever is wrong is getting worse. There is no word on what is wrong or how long he might be out of action. Friedman has not wrestled since the March 11 edition of Dynamite. In another tweet, Friedman said he is taking a break from Twitter.
My Issue has gotten worse, Its looking like I Might need surgery.
I’m genuinely trying my very best to comeback for you guys. https://t.co/7oT41sLbr3

This would be a big loss for AEW. Check out some of Friedman’s work:
Opinion: Hopefully this isn’t serious as the only thing that could slow Friedman down at this point would be an injury. He is over with the fans and can talk, so hopefully nothing is too serious here. Friedman could be a big deal for a long time as he has a way with words that can make the best of all time jealous. Then again, this could be an angle of some sort, which would certainly be better.
What do you think of Friedman? Will he ever be AEW World Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
