Now that’s a title change. WrestleMania 35 was certainly an eventful show, but the most interesting thing of all might have been the way the action started. Universal Champion Brock Lesnar lost the title to Seth Rollins in the opening match, which didn’t even last three minutes. Rollins has promised to be a full time champion, but there is another major change, this one to the title itself.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Rollins was seen holding the title, which is now clasped together by Velcro instead of the traditional hooks. There is no word on why the change was made or if it is going to be a permanent one. At the moment, the Universal Title is the only one that seems to be held together by Velcro rather than hooks. Title belts being held together by hooks has been the normal design for decades, with Velcro only being used in toy replicas mainly sold in the 1990s.
Switching the belt fastenings from snaps to velcro is the worst thing WWE did this weekend and nobody's talking about it. pic.twitter.com/dJITFNYopV

See if you can spot the change. Check out Rollins with his new title on Monday:
Opinion: I’m going to assume this is designed for the sake of being more adjustable, but were the hooks really that bad? They’re one of those things that have been around forever and I can’t quite see how this is that much better. Velcro makes it look like a toy instead of something that belongs on a real World Title belt. It’s not something that makes that much of a difference, but it’s such an odd change to make.
