Ouch: AEW Star Injured, Status For Upcoming Blood & Guts Match

That’s never good to see. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as they can be put on the shelf out of nowhere. You never know when someone is going to be injured or how long they are going to be out of action. Some injuries are far worse than others, and thankfully one of the most recent injuries may not be quite as serious.

The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite saw Kenny Omega defeat Wheeler Yuta. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Yuta suffered a hamstring injury during the match. However, the injury is not believed to be serious and Yuta is expected to be back in time for Blood & Guts on July 19. There is no word on if he is expected to wrestle before the match.

Opinion: This is one of those things that could be a lot worse and hopefully everything is fine as soon as possible. Hopefully Yuta is back in the ring sooner than later as you never want to see someone out of action. Yuta is set for a big role in one of the most important matches that AEW will present throughout the year. It would be great to have him at full strength and that still might be a possibility.
