Run it back. There are several ways to present a feud in wrestling and one of the more interesting ways is to build things up over time. This can include taking time between matches and letting the issue build up. That is what WWE has been doing in recent months with two matches having already taken place between a pair of wrestlers. Now we know when the third is planned.

At Backlash, Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar in the show’s main event. Lesnar went on to attack Rhodes and break his arm, allowing him to defeat Rhodes via referee stoppage in the rematch at Night Of Champions. Rhodes has since called out Lesnar for a third match, and according to Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan is to have the third match at Summerslam. The show is scheduled for August 5 in Detroit.

Opinion: This probably isn’t the biggest surprise as Lesnar vs. Rhodes is a big time match that needs to take place on a major stage. Rhodes has already called out Lesnar for another fight and now the best thing that they can do is wait around to get to the match. Summerslam should work just fine and we should be in for a heck of a fight, which should be the blowoff to the feud.
