He wasn’t in. There have been some interesting roster moves in AEW in recent months and that has made for some changes. This includes various wrestlers disappearing for various reasons and then reappearing later on. It can be very interesting to see how things go when they come back, which has been the case multiple times recently. However, one name was offered a return but turned it down.

On the May 10 edition of AEW Dynamite, Thunder Rosa and Miro both made surprise returns and walked into AEW President Tony Khan’s office. According to Fightful Select, Andrade El Idolo, who has not wrestled since September due to a suspension and surgery, was offered a similar cameo but turned it down for unknown reasons. He did film a backstage segment for AEW’s social media at the following week’s taping. El Idolo is still expected for the debut edition of Collision on June 17.

Two to one. Check out the ones who knocked and the one who didn’t:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can come off as a bit odd but what matters the most is that El Idolo should be back on TV next weekend. Collision is what matters here and it should be interesting to see what he does when he gets back. El Idolo has already been out of the ring for over nine months and that is more than long enough for someone with his talent to be gone.

What do you think of El Idolo? How should AEW use him? Let us know in the comments below.
