Us-oh. Life as a wrestler isn’t an easy one. Aside from the entire in-ring portion of the job, there’s the life on the road, which is one of the most overlooked aspects. Wrestlers are asked to go from one town to the next almost every single night, which is going to take a toll on your body no matter what. Sometimes that part of the job can go badly, which is the case right now.
, Jimmy Uso was arrested in Detroit earlier this week for disorderly conduct and obstruction. Uso and his wife Naomi were driving in downtown Detroit when their car, driven by Naomi, was pulled over for driving the wrong way down a one way street. Police said the car “reeked” of alcohol and had Naomi get out.
While she was talking to the police, Uso got out of the car, took off his shirt and seemed ready to fight the police. Eventually Uso calmed down and complied with the officer’s orders before being arrested. He later posted bond and was released, though there is no word on his status for Elimination Chamber, where he and his brother Jey are challenging for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. Naomi was not arrested.
These two can work together much better. Check out a version from happier times:
Opinion: Ouch. There isn’t much of a way around this one, though Naomi didn’t seem to be driving under the influence which will help things out a lot. I’m not sure what this means for the team going forward, though they are already rumored to be leaving the company in a few months anyway. Either way, this could have been worse, though what happened in the first place wasn’t exactly good.
