Just in case you thought he was gone. Last week at Crown Jewel, Brock Lesnar made his WWE return and won the Universal Title for the second time in a pretty big surprise. The working theory seemed to have been that Lesnar was going back to the UFC full time and only had one match left. However, things seem to have changed a little bit and now we know some more about Lesnar’s future plans.
According to MMA Fighting, Lesnar is now scheduled to work WrestleMania 35 in April as he has signed a new deal with WWE. There is currently no word on who he will be facing at the show or how many dates the new deal includes. Lesnar is currently scheduled to face SmackDown World Champion AJ Styles at Survivor Series later this month in a non-title match.
Here’s how dominant Lesnar can be.
Opinion: Your miles on Lesnar may vary but I don’t think it’s any surprise that he’ll be at the biggest show of the year for one of the biggest paydays. The question though is does he defend the title at the show, as that’s quite a long wait for someone who might be heading back to the UFC. It should be interesting to see what Lesnar does, assuming he’s actually around.
Are you glad Lesnar will be sticking around? What do you want to see him do? Let us know in the comments below.
