No More? Speculation On Future Of Missing WWE Superstar

He won’t be back? Earlier this year, the wrestling world was rocked by the surprise passing of Bray Wyatt following a heart attack. Wyatt had been active in the ring earlier in the year and had been rumored to be getting ready to return following a long medical hiatus. Wyatt passing away was a huge shock to the wrestling world, but now we might have one more bit of fallout to deal with from the whole thing.

During his final series of matches with the company, Wyatt had been dealing with a mysterious figure known as Uncle Howdy. The character was portrayed by Wyatt’s real life brother Bo Dallas, though this was never acknowledged on WWE TV. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer says he does not expect Dallas to return to WWE TV. Dallas was said to only have been used as a favor to Wyatt and while it is a possibility he could be back, it is not expected. Note that this is speculation on Meltzer’s part and not a definitive statement.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by this as Dallas was only around as part of the Wyatt story, which obviously won’t be continuing. If WWE wanted to use him in some way before, they would have brought him back a long time ago. It won’t look like the nicest thing to let him go, but it does seem to be understood that he was only there for one specific reason in the first place.
