Come on over? There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world today and some of them are in rather prominent roles. Those are the wrestlers who get to wrestle on national television on a weekly basis, most often in WWE or AEW. It can make a big difference to see one of them go from one promotion to another, and now it seems that one former AEW star is officially with WWE.

According to PWInsider.com, Brian Pillman Jr. has signed with WWE and begun training at the Performance Center in NXT. This comes after he recently finished up his independent commitments. There is no word on when Pillman Jr. might debut on NXT TV, though there is said to be “no rush” to have him appear. Pillman Jr., 29, had been rumored to come to WWE after he left AEW in July, when his contract expired.

Opinion: Pillman Jr. has been rumored to come to NXT for a long time now so it isn’t a surprise that he appeared to have officially made the move. At the end of the day, he did well enough in AEW but there was nothing else for him to do there if he was not going to get pushed harder. NXT might be a lot better for him, as he can get more experience and coaching than he would over in AEW.
