Welcome back. There are a lot of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster but it can be difficult to find something for all of them to do. With so many people around, WWE has been able to split its roster up into three groups. You will occasionally see wrestlers move from one roster to the other and now that has been the case again, but it might not be ready for prime time just yet.

Over the weekend, WWE ran a live event in Cape Giardeau, Missouri, where one of the matches saw LA Knight defeat Mustafa Ali. This marked Ali’s first match on the main roster since he wrestled at a live event in April of this year. Since then, Ali has been appearing in NXT, where he has been chasing the North American Title. There is no word on if this will lead to a full time main roster return.

Opinion: This is one of those things that you get to see at live events and it can make for a special moment. Ali might not be the biggest star in WWE but there is something cool about seeing a star who has not been around in a long time. At the very least, it is a nice sign for his future that he was put with one of the hottest up and coming stars in the company in Knight.
