And down the stretch they come. We’re coming up on the “2018 Royal Rumble” and that means the road to “Wrestlemania XXXIV”. That means it’s the busy season for WWE and now that “Monday Night Football” is off the air, there’s really not much stopping WWE’s ratings from going up other than WWE itself. So how did this week’s show do?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” drew a 1.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.25 million viewers. These numbers are up 17% and 18% over last week’s .9 rating and 2.76 million viewers. The rating is the best since November 13 and the audience is the best since August 25.

Opinion: That’s a good sign as there was no major competition against the show and it did pretty well all things considered. Next week is the real test though as the show is the big 25th Anniversary Special and needs to knock it out of the park. They don’t have a bigger show all year (save for maybe the night after “Wrestlemania XXXIV”) so it needs to draw some big numbers.
