RUMOR: That Might Not Be Wise. Interesting Update On The Revival’s WWE Status And Contract Situation.

WWE might want to get around to that. The wrestling world is changing in a hurry, to an extent that it hasn’t seen since the days of the Monday Night Wars. There are wrestlers moving around and trying to get onto other shows faster than anyone can keep up with and it makes for some very interesting times. It is even more interesting when a prominent name is involved and that might be the case times two at the moment.

According to Fightful.com, the Revival have not currently signed new deals with WWE, despite winning the SmackDown Tag Team Titles earlier this month at Clash Of Champions. The team has had notable issues with WWE over the last several months and has been rumored to leave for a long time now. Their current contracts expire at some point in the spring, though Dash Wilder’s has been extended due to missing some time due to an injury.

Opinion: Can you blame Revival for not being gung ho about re-signing? WWE has made it clear that they will change plans at the drop of a hat so maybe Revival is worried about what happens to them if they stick around. It’s a valid worry and while they can make a lot of money in WWE, they could make quite a bit of it in AEW without the same problems. It’s a balance they have to figure out and I don’t know if they have reached that point yet.
