That’s one on board. This week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” was another step forward in Mick Foley’s path towards leaving his position as General Manager. Foley has had severe issues with Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and it’s likely that there’s going to be a replacement announced soon. As luck would have it, Foley seems to like one candidate.
On his official Facebook page, Foley was asked who should replace him. A fan suggested Kurt Angle and Foley liked the idea, saying “Kurt would be a great choice.” Angle has been rumored for the spot already and even has a history of running things as he was the General Manager of “Smackdown” in 2004.
Opinion: I’d bet Angle is near the top of the list for potential candidates and that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Angle would be a great surprise for the post “Wrestlemania XXXIII” episode of “Monday Night Raw”. He’s fresh in people’s minds right now and putting him on TV every week would be a good way to capitalize on things.
