On The Mend: Bad News On Return Status Of Injured AEW Star

It might be a bit. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to get hurt and unfortunately some of them can take a long time to heal. Some injuries take longer than others as something can go wrong in recovery. That is the kind of thing that can make for some scary situations and now we are in the middle of another one, as an AEW star might be out of action longer than expected.

AEW’s Sammy Guevara has been out of action since suffering a concussion at WrestleDream. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Guevara has suffered a setback in his recovery but is said to be doing well otherwise. There is no word on how long Guevara might be out of action. He had hoped to be cleared to return this week for Dynamite, though it is not clear if that will be possible.

Opinion: That is not the best thing to hear and now all we can do is wait to see how long Guevara is out of action. A concussion is no laughing matter and now we have to see how things go for him. Guevara is currently in the middle of a high profile storyline and while it would be terrible to see that hurt by his absence, his health is more important than anything he has to do in AEW.
