Maybe? Top Tag Team, Former World Champions May Be Free Agents Soon

On the market? There are all kinds of stars throughout the wrestling world and some of them do not work for the biggest companies in the world. WWE and AEW do not have every talented wrestler in the world locked down but it can be very interesting when some of them become available. While not confirmed, there is a chance that such a thing could happen in the near future.

According to PWInsider.com, there is a belief among some in TNA Wrestling that the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) will be free agents by the end of March. The two are currently set to wrestle at an independent event on April 21, the day after TNA’s Rebellion event. The company normally uses that day for its television taping and the team being booked elsewhere has led to speculation that a deal between the two sides has not been reached. This is not confirmed and there is still the chance that the team could reach a new deal with TNA.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes for an interesting situation as the team is good enough to go anywhere they like. That very well could include WWE or AEW, both of whom are likely to be interested in the team. I’m not sure where they are going to go, but the team is doing some rather good things in TNA as of late and there is a good chance that they could go somewhere even bigger in the near future.
