Two for one. With less than a week to go before “Payback 2017”, the card is mostly ready to go but one of the last questions was what would be taking place before the show actually got started. That question was answered tonight as WWE announced both a match as well as a segment for Sunday’s Kickoff Show.
This week on “Monday Night Raw”, it was announced that the Kickoff Show would consist of Enzo Amore/Big Cass facing Anderson and Gallows, along with Finn Balor appearing on MizTV. Amore and Big Cass have had issues with Anderson and Gallows for a few weeks now and lost to them last week. Balor and Miz have no issues but Balor has been targeted by Bray Wyatt in recent weeks.
Opinion: The Kickoff Show can often be hit or miss but it’s a good idea to have a popular act like Amore and Big Cass on the show to really warm up the crowd. At the same time, Balor can really wake the crowd up with his entrance and if it sets up a feud with Miz, things should improve for both of them.
