He’s done? There are all kinds of talented wrestlers from around the world across various wrestling promotions. You never know when you are going to see one of them show up elsewhere and it can make a big difference when one of them becomes a free agent. That is going to be the case again in the near future, as one of the biggest stars in wrestling will be on the market.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Kazuchika Okada will be leaving the promotion when his contract expires at the end of January. However, Okada will wrestle three matches for New Japan in February, with his final match taking place on February 24. There is no word on where or when Okada, 36 years old, will be signing next. He has wrestled for AEW in the past, including at last year’s Forbidden Door event.

Opinion: Well this is certainly going to cause some discussion, as Okada could wind up going to a few different promotions. At the end of the day though, there is very little left for him to do in New Japan. Maybe he wants to go somewhere else, if nothing else for the sake of having some new challenges. This is a huge name making it to the free agent market and I’m curious to see where everything goes.
