That’s a relief. Injuries can be some of the trickiest things in all of wrestling as you never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf for a long time. They can take place at any time and at times, all you can do is wait and see just how bad things are. That was the situation again last week after a scary moment, but now things do not see to be as bad as they could have been.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Welcome Back? Top WWE Superstar Expected To Return Soon For Road To WrestleMania 40

Last week on SmackDown, a match between Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory was stopped when the two landed awkwardly coming out of the corner. While Theory remains in WWE medical protocol, Hayes appeared on this week’s NXT and wrestled in a tag match as scheduled, teaming with Trick WIlliams to defeat Malik Blade and Edris Enofe. There is no word on when Theory will return to the ring.

Hayes is a good one. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: That is quite the relief as Hayes and Theory both had a scary landing. The fact that Hayes is back in the ring about four days later is great to see, as you never know how bad some kind of a head injury can be. Hayes is someone with a tremendous upside and I could go for seeing a lot more of him in the future, which can’t happen if he is on the injured list.

What do you think of Hayes? How far will he go on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
