And There It Is. Major Title Match Set For Takeover: New York *CONTAINS SPOILER*

Take my money now. Earlier this year at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool, the NXT UK fans got their first in-person look at Walter. The monstrous Austrian seemed to be the next man in line to come after United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, who has held the title for nearly six hundred days. It was clear that the title match was coming sooner or later, and now we know when.

According to Ringsidenews.com, Dunne vs. Walter for the United Kingdom Title was announced for the upcoming NXT Takeover: New York on WrestleMania 35 weekend. This will be Walter’s NXT debut and Dunne’s first NXT match since takeover: WarGames II back in November. The United Kingdom Title has been defended on Takeovers since it was introduced to the compan.

Opinion: Just…yes, in every sense of the word. This is the match that fans have been wanting to see for a very long time now and this is the right place to have the match go down. It’s going to be a hoss fight and that’s the kind of thing that NXT knows how to make work. There’s a good chance that it’s going to steal the weekend and that’s exactly what people want to see.
