In case it didn’t work the first time. Wrestling bosses are a fickle bunch of people, as they change their minds on just about anything at any given time. The worst offender of them all is of course Vince McMahon, who is known to change his mind on anything at any given time, both on screen and off screen. That seems to be the case again on SmackDown Live, and it might be leading up to a big story.
Last week on SmackDown Live, Vince McMahon announced Elias as the biggest acquisition in the history of the show. Immediately thereafter, Roman Reigns came out and attacked Elias before Superman Punching McMahon. This led to a story on WWE.com, suggesting that McMahon may fire Reigns from the show this coming week. That would suggest that a big Reigns vs. McMahon story may be on the horizon in the very near future.
It’s never too early to get the other side of the story. Check out Reigns being asked about his future over the weekend:
Opinion: I mean….if we have to. The WWE has already done this story at the end of 2015, though it could be interesting to see where things go with Reigns not being at the very top of the card and even having a little more sympathy this time around. It might not necessarily work any better, but it’s worth trying again, as long as it doesn’t lead to another Reigns WrestleMania main event against Triple H.
