It might not be there. WWE runs all kinds of events throughout the year but none of them is bigger than WrestleMania. The company stacks the show with as many big stars as it can and has all kinds of special attractions. One of the biggest matches that has been discussed for both this year’s WrestleMania 39 and next year’s WrestleMania 40 has been the Rock vs. his cousin Roman Reigns. Discussions about the match have picked up again in recent weeks, but according to Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, a match at WrestleMania 40 will not be the Rock’s to make. Should WWE offer Rock the match, it would depend on his filming commitments, the XFL, and his other ventures. There are currently no plans for Rock to wrestle at the event, though this could change.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised, as Rock being one of the biggest movie stars in the world isn’t going to leave him with time to set up a match like this and then risk the injury on top of it. That being said, if Rock wants to get in the main event of WrestleMania as Reigns’ other challenger is heading to the ring, WWE will make a change at the last possible second.
