That’s a very important step. As tends to be the case in WWE around this time of the year, things are starting to pick up in a hurry. It’s WrestleMania season and that means WWE needs to start making some moves. That can include a variety of things, but one of them tends to be people coming back from injuries. There’s one name in particular that people want to see, and he might be getting close to a return.
According to his Twitter account, Kevin Owens recently wrestled a match against Adam Cole at the Performance Center. Owens described it as the first match he’s wrestled against Cole in four years and says the match finished with a hip toss. This is one of the first matches Owens has had in a long time, with his last televised matches taking place on the October 8 Monday Night Raw. He has since been on the shelf recovering from knee surgery.

The lack of health didn’t stop WWE, who has been advertising Owens’ return for a long time. Check out the original announcement:
Opinion: The fact that Owens can get back inside a ring is a good sign, even if the match might not have been going at full speeds. If Owens is getting back in the ring with a bigger name like Cole, it’s likely a sign that he’ll be back in the ring soon. You wouldn’t put him in there with a name if it was just a first workout. I could go for Owens being back soon, just for the great promos alone.
