Just What Is Going On With Dolph Ziggler?

Yep he’s still here. Dolph Ziggler has a complicated history with WWE. He’s been around for well over ten years now and has won almost everything there is to win. It constantly seems like he’s ready to break through to the main event scene and stay there for good but it hasn’t clicked yet. Ziggler hasn’t been around much lately, but as it turns out, he’s more around than not.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Ziggler’s current status is unknown. He is currently under contract for several years, having signed a new deal in 2018. Ziggler recently said that he would be taking time off from WWE, only to show up at the Royal Rumble and seemingly continue his feud with Drew McIntyre. Finally, Ziggler was offered a spot as a producer but said he wanted to wrestle instead.

Opinion: I’m not all that big on Ziggler as he seems to constantly be moving up and down the card like a yoyo. It might be something as simple as this, where he’s implied that he’s taking time off and then he comes back to wrestle again, or it might be like last year where he vacated the US Title but came back again in the Royal Rumble. This stuff never leads anywhere and it gets tiring to watch time after time.
