You don’t see that one very often. Wrestlers are almost destined to get some kind of injury at some point in their careers. This might include a muscle tear, a broken bone or a bad bruise. At other times though, it might be something a little more rare or unique. It turns out that it might be the case down in NXT, where a prominent name is sick with a pretty rare condition.
According to her Twitter, Kairi Sane is suffering from Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. The disease is a viral infection that usually affects children rather than adults, but it isn’t out of the question for adults to receive it either. There is no danger to Sane as the disease tends to clear up on its own in a matter of days. At the moment, there is no indication that she’ll be missing any ring time. Here is the tweet, followed by a translation courtesy of 411mania.com:
?????????????????????????…Ouch
??????????????????????????????????Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease?????5????????????????????
?????????????????????????????— Kairi Sane (@KAIRI_official) November 27, 2018
“The fever has gone down, but now my hands, feet and mouth have a mysterious eczema… Ouch you go to the hospital with it? ????(even in the United States, hand, Foot and Mouth Disease) It is a disease that infants under 5 years old have been examined, ??????? why did the virus enter my body by mistake? ?? lol”
When she’s healthy, Sane can be an athletic freak, as proven by what she did at Takeover not too long ago:
Opinion: That’s not the kind of thing you hear about very often and at least she’s not in any serious danger. It’s one of those things that is more a unique story than anything else and that’s a lot better than being any kind of a serious condition. Sane has been getting better and better down in NXT and hopefully she’ll be back to normal in short order as this must be annoying.
What do you think of Sane? When will she be moving up to the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
