Welcome back? There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and some of them have gone on to continue working for the company after their in-ring careers are over. Some of them get a job in broadcasting and become even better known there than they were in the ring. One of the most well remembered broadcasters ever might be on his way back into the fold.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s Coming: Long Awaited WWE Storyline Takes Big Step Forward On Monday Night Raw

During an interview with Frank Morano, WWE Hall Of Famer Jesse Ventura revealed that he is negotiating with WWE on a Legends deal. This comes after Ventura had previously discussed returning to WWE in some fashion. Ventura said that he will not be getting back behind the microphone as he does not know who the wrestlers are these days. Ventura last worked for WWE in 2009 when he was a guest host of Monday Night Raw.

He was different. Check out some of Ventura’s time in WWE:

Opinion: Maybe it’s the Golden Era fan in me but this is one of those things that just feels right. Ventura was such a huge part of one of the most important eras in the company’s history that having him back in the fold, even if it is little more than a glorified special appearance. Let Ventura come back for a fun cameo and have him at WWE World or something like that, just as a way of saying goodbye one more time.

What do you think of Ventura? How could he be used in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
