Jake Roberts on What Roman Reigns Should Do

Trust him. If there’s one old school wrestler who might have understood psychology better than anyone else in history, it’s Jake Roberts. That alone should make him worth listening to when it comes to wrestling and hopefully more people do so. This includes Roman Reigns, who Roberts has some advice for.

Roberts recently appeared on “The Roman Show” where he talked about what he told Reigns in regard to the current amount of heel heat he receives. The advice seems to be for the WWE creative staff as well with Roberts mentioning that it doesn’t make sense to go against the crowd’s wishes.

“Enjoy it. Why in God’s name would you try to change what the masses want? Let them hate just pay me while you are doing it. Pull hair eye gauge do what you have to do.”

Opinion: Roberts is right on this one. I know Reigns isn’t getting the reaction that WWE wants for him but the important thing is the fans are responding. How many wrestlers have you see do everything they can think of and get no response? Getting a reaction of any kind shows that there’s hope there, which is very important in its own right.
