Rumor: Plans for Sasha Banks’ Heel Turn

The Boss’ turn. With Charlotte gone from “Monday Night Raw” due to the Superstar Shakeup, Sasha Banks is one of the top stars left in the show’s women’s division. She and Women’s Champion Bayley seem to be very good friends at the moment and odds are that should be setting up a heel turn. According to a new report, that’s exactly the case.

Banks is reported to be turning heel over the summer and eventually take the title from Bayley at “Summerslam 2017”, according to a new report from Sporskeeda.com. Bayley will feud with Nia Jax and the newly acquired Alexa Bliss, though Dana Brooke and Emma could be brought into the story as well.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world as Banks’ heel turn has been teased for weeks now. Banks taking the title from Bayley in Brooklyn would call back to their classic in NXT as well as set up what should be another great match between the two. If the timeline is correct, I’m really glad they’re waiting like this instead of just doing everything all at once. Let the story build for a change.
