Same time next week. With a rash of injuries taking out a lot of the “Monday Night Raw” roster and Brock Lesnar not being able to show up this month, the Intercontinental Title has become one of the more important things on the show. Therefore Dean Ambrose has become a big deal as well and he’s set to defend his title next week.

As announced this week on “Monday Night Raw”, Ambrose will defend his title next week against the Miz. This match was originally scheduled for June’s “Extreme Rules 2017” but was switched over due to the two getting into an argument on this week’s TV show. There is no word on what will happen with the title at the pay per view.

Opinion: There’s a very good chance that Miz wins the title here and if he does, he’ll move into second place on the list of most Intercontinental Title reigns. At his age, there’s a very real possibility that he could break Chris Jericho’s record and become a ten time champion, which is one of those records you wouldn’t expect to be broken.
