Oh no. Braun Strowman has been one of the biggest surprises of the year, rising from little more than a Wyatt Family lackey to a potential World Championship contender. Strowman has currently been cleaning house in the main event, including a clean pinfall over Roman Reigns at “Payback 2017”. However, something seems to have gone wrong.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Strowman is going to undergo a minor surgical procedure on an arm injury and will miss four to eight weeks. This is going to keep him out of “Extreme Rules 2017” and very well could keep him out of “Great Balls of Fire”, meaning both main events could be changed. Strowman was scheduled to face Reigns at the former and Brock Lesnar at the latter.  He was written off TV tonight thanks to a Roman Reigns attack.

Opinion: Dang it. Strowman is one of the most consistently entertaining performers on the “Monday Night Raw” roster and I really hope this doesn’t derail his push. WWE clearly sees something special in Strowman as Reigns doesn’t lose matches, especially pay per view main events, very often.
