That’s a big change. There are all kinds of wrestler in WWE, to the point where the company is able to split its roster into multiple sections. That can be rather difficult to keep track of but WWE does it as well as they can with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown having their own set of wrestlers. At least that is in theory, but the situation might be changing soon.
According to Wrestling Observer Live, while the decision is not official, the WWE brand Split is all but finished. Several Monday Night Raw wrestlers will be heading to SmackDown this week, including Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, though it is not clear if the two will be on camera. It is not clear if WWE will officially be ending the Brand Split or just loosening it, as has been the case in recent weeks.
Opinion: I’m not sure how much of a difference this is really going to make, as some of the titles have been unified and wrestlers appear on different shows on a regular basis. It should be interesting to see how FOX and USA respond to not having exclusive wrestlers, but maybe WWE can make this work. If nothing else, it might make the shows a bit better for the fans, which is always nice.
