The belt collector’s next test. The shakeup of “Impact Wrestling” continues with a bunch of names changes being made to both the show and its roster. One such change was Austin Aries returning to win the World Title two weeks ago, but the question now is many people would be interested in a rematch.
According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .07 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 300,000 viewers. These numbers are down 13% and up 2% from last week’s .08 rating and 294,000 viewers respectively. This week’s show was headlined by a rematch between Aries and former World Champion Eli Drake, who lost the title in an impromptu match earlier this month.

Opinion: This week’s show was perfectly watchable but not the most thrilling in the world. They seem to be in more of a standard formula now and while that’s certainly better than being all over the place, it doesn’t quite set the world on fire most of the time. Things could be much worse though and that’s the kind of positive that the promotion should focus on.
