He’s gone? There have been all kinds of changes taking place in WWE in recent months and several of them have been behind the scenes. These changes have mainly involved people who work in the front office in major roles, some of who have worked with the company for a very long time. Now another person with a rather high ranking title has left the company in a role that needs to be filled.

According to both PWInsider.com and Fightful, WWE Television Executive Vice President Chris Kaiser has left the company. Fightful is reporting that the change was made due to “cost synergies”. Kaiser has worked for WWE since 2015 and has been an executive producer for non-in-ring wrestling shows such as Total Bellas, Miz & Mrs., WWE Most Wanted Treasures and more. There has not been a replacement named thus far.

Opinion: The term “cost synergies” screams “cost cutting” to me, which is rarely a good thing to see. At the end of the day, there are a lot of different people helping to run things behind the scenes in WWE these days and changes like these are inevitable. That doesn’t make the loss any better, but it does explain why some of these things are happening over and over.
