Here’s When Rey Mysterio Might Return To WWE TV

Booyaka 1000. Rey Mysterio’s return to WWE has seemed to be impending for months now. He has been rumored to be coming back to the company for a long time but now things to actually be coming together. After several years away from the company, Mysterio made a few appearances earlier this year in the Royal Rumble and the Greatest Royal Rumble. But what about a full time regular return?

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, Mysterio is scheduled to make his return to the WWE on October 16 at SmackDown 1000. Last month, Mysterio reportedly signed a two year deal to return to the company, though this has yet to be officially confirmed or announced. Mysterio’s last singles match for WWE was back in 2014 on Monday Night Raw.

He’s on his way.

Opinion: Mysterio’s return has been rumored so many times now that I’m only going to believe it when I actually see it. That being said, the SmackDown 1000 date makes a lot of sense and it would be appropriate to have him back as a big surprise. Mysterio is a major star and was a force on SmackDown Live for years. Let him show up and get a win before he starts putting people over, like he should.
