Rough day. WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world and a lot of that is due to how many places they run events. This includes television taking place around the United States, often in major cities and venues. That means a lot of travel, but sometimes things can go wrong. Such things went wrong this week, and the show was heavily impacted in a negative way.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Got Em: Title Change Takes Place On Monday Night Raw, Surprise Turn Follows
This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with an announcement that several wrestlers were unable to make it to the show due to travel issues. According to PWInsider.com, the show required heavy rewrites due to the limited roster, causing a rough day for WWE creative. It was also noted that Vince McMahon, who was not at the show, did not order the rewrites. McMahon went over the show earlier in the day but did not make any major changes.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that does happen occasionally and there isn’t much that can be done to get around it. The wrestlers missed the show due to circumstances beyond their control and still managed to put on a heck of an episode. What matters is they got things done as well as they did, but also that McMahon did not change the show. Maybe last week’s changes were just a one off, which would give me a lot more hope going forward.
