That’s one way to do it. With so many people moving around the roster, it can be easy for a wrestler to get lost in the cracks in WWE. Occasionally someone will be moved off the roster for one reason or another and it can make for an important moment when someone goes away. Now we are seeing a wrestler seemingly being written off television in a rather interesting way.

Last month, Ronda Rousey revealed that NXT star Drew Gulak inappropriately touched the drawstring of her sweatpants during her most recent run in WWE. This resulted in Gulak issuing an apology but also being pulled from NXT television with no explanation. This week, the No Quarter Catch Crew, Gulak’s stable, suggested that they had paid the D’Angelo Family to take out Gulak for unexplained reasons. Gulak was not mentioned by name and has been removed from the team’s graphics. There is no word on when or if Gulak will return to television.

Opinion: This is the kind of exit for a wrestler that you do not see take place very often but it had to be done. At the end of the day, Gulak appears to be trouble in WWE and there is only so much that can be done with him. I can appreciate having WWE do something to get rid of him, as otherwise it’s just “well, I guess he’s gone now”. The details don’t really matter, as we saw Gulak written off and forgotten, either for the time being or for good.
