It’s not looking good. The big story of the year in wrestling continues to be the AEW influence. While it might not have had direct contact with everyone, the company’s debut has made it clear that there are other options out there. This has caused wrestlers to try to get out of WWE and now, it appears that two names are getting closer and closer to leaving early.
According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have been pulled from all upcoming live events, suggesting that they are done in WWE. While the team’s contracts with WWE aren’t up until September, it seems that they won’t be appearing for the company anytime soon. The two of them seemed interested in leaving the company recently, possibly due to issues of not being used frequently enough. Their last televised match took place on February 5.
It might be the last time. Check out what could be Anderson and Gallows’ last match on WWE TV:
Opinion: If they want out, I can’t say I can blame them. They’ve barely been used in the last year and if they can make decent money elsewhere and be a lot happier, so be it. Anderson and Gallows have value in other companies and it would be nice to see them get some more of a chance. It’s clear that WWE isn’t interested in pushing them so there’s no point in keeping them around. They’re more than capable of being successful elsewhere and I’m sure they’re going to be fine.
Where do you think Anderson and Gallows will wind up? Where would they have the most success? Let us know in the comments below.
