Welcome back almost? Injuries are some of the worst things in wrestling as they can put people on the shelf out of nowhere. You never know when you are going to see a wrestler put out of action and then the recovery time is on. That was the situation earlier this year when a promising NXT star was injured but now we are getting a promising sign about her future in the ring.

Nikkita Lyons has been out of action with a knee injury since January of this year, following an attack at the hands of Blair Davenport. Lyons was shown in the crowd on this week’s edition of NXT, along with appearing in a video showing her training for a return to the ring. There is no word on when she will be wrestling again, though commentary said it would be soon. Lyons’ most recent match took place on January 17, when she defeated Jakara Jackson.
She has it. Check out Lyons in the ring:
Opinion: It’s great to hear that Lyons is expected back soon as she has been out of action for a very long time now. Lyons is someone who feels like she should be ready to break out as a major star but this kind of injury is something that can absolutely wreck her momentum. Unfortunately she has to be built back up, but hopefully that works out faster than expeced.
What do you think of Lyons? How will she do when she returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
