WATCH: Shinsuke Nakamura Reveals His New Target (And It’s A Big One)

It was him. There are several different ways to start a story, with some of the more interesting ones involving a surprise start. You never know when you might see someone attack another wrestler seemingly out of nowhere, but there might have been some clues along the way. That was the case this week, as someone was attacked despite being warned for weeks.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes was in the ring when Shinsuke Nakamura appeared on the Titantron to interrupt him. Nakamura revealed that Rhodes was his next target and then appeared in the ring to spray Rhodes with red mist. This comes after Nakamura had spent the last several weeks speaking about someone he wanted to face but no name was ever mentioned.

Opinion: Now this has me intrigued as not only is it a fresh matchup but it is also something that Nakamura has teased for a few weeks now. We could be in for some good stuff here as Rhodes gets a new opponent on the way to the Royal Rumble in January. That should make for something interesting going forward and the two of them could work well together if given the right setup.
