Ouch for Sane. Wrestling is a lot of things, but above all else it is physical. Wrestlers are getting in the ring and having a match against each other, which can result in things going wrong one way or another. While there are always possible bumps and bruises, some injuries are worse than others and require some kind of help. That is what we saw this week during a televised match.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a match between Damage CTRL and Isla Dawn/Alba Fyre. During the match, Kairi Sane attempted a dive but hit the announcers’ table, resulting in her being busted open. According to PWInsider.com, Sane received stitches backstage to close the cut. There is nothing to indicate that Sane has a more serious injury. Damage CTRL went on to lose the match.
It was a nasty one. Check out the match, plus Sane in better times:
Opinion: That isn’t something you ever want to see and hopefully Sane is just banged up rather than having anything serious. At the same time, it does show you just how bad things can get in the blink of an eye. Sane was already doing a dangerous spot and then it wound up going badly in a different way. Thankfully things went as well as they did, as it could have been so much worse.
What did you think of the spot? Is Sane better on her own or as part of a team? Let us know in the comments below.
