Some people never change. Dean Ambrose is one of the top stars in WWE, which has been the case for a very long time now. While he’s definitely become his own thing today, there was a time where he was just a third of the Shield. That included a long US Title reigns, which WWE is looking back at today.
WWE has released the full version of Ambrose defending the United States Title against Dolph Ziggler at “Night of Champions 2013”. This was during Ambrose’s first title reign on the main roster, having come just under a year after the Shield’s debut. Ambrose would hold the title until May of the following year. Here’s the match.
FULL MATCH - Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler - U.S. Title Match: Night of Champions 201
Opinion: What does it say that Ziggler is so similar all these years later? Sure he’s a heel now but how much different is he really? Ambrose has at least changed his look up and that’s a lot better than what Ziggler has been doing. The match is nothing memorable but it’s rather interesting to see how much one person has changed while the other is basically the same.
Which of the two participants do you like better? Who has more potential at the moment? Let us know in the comments below.
